There's no minimum order. Most customers order bags alongside containers and cutlery in a single delivery. If you need specific size combinations or custom quantities, just include that in your quote request and we'll confirm availability.

Yes. Uncoated kraft paper bags are accepted in BC's blue box recycling program. They don't need to go to a special composting facility — they go in the regular recycling bin, which makes them easy for customers to handle responsibly. If the bag comes back lightly food-contaminated, it can still often be recycled; check your municipality's guidelines.
Flat-bottom bags (also called grocery-style or SOS bags) stand upright on their own, which makes them ideal for bakery counters, deli use, and bulk packing. Handled bags have twisted paper handles and are designed for customers to carry out — better for restaurants and takeout. Most food businesses order both formats for different purposes.
Our medium handled bag (10×7×4") comfortably holds a standard 1–2 person takeout order including containers, a cup, and cutlery — roughly 2–3 kg. The large and XL sizes are rated for heavier loads. The twisted paper handles are reinforced and won't snap under a full order if the bag is loaded correctly.
