Ordering & Minimums

How do I place an order?

The easiest way is to fill out the quote request form on our Contact page. Tell us what products you're looking for, your approximate quantities, and your delivery location. We'll respond within one business day with availability and pricing. You can also email us at info@trueearthpackaging.com or call +1 672-985-9083 (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm PT).

Is there a minimum order quantity?

We sell by the case, which is standard for wholesale packaging. Case quantities vary by product — some categories come in cases of 50, others in larger quantities. Contact us with the specific items you need and we'll confirm the case size and pricing.

Can I mix different products in one order?

Yes. Most customers order several product types together — takeout containers, cups, and cutlery in a single delivery, for example. There's no requirement to order just one product category.

Can I get samples before placing a full order?

Reach out and ask. We're happy to discuss sample options for customers who want to verify product fit and quality before committing to a full case order.

Which cities do you deliver to in BC?

Our primary delivery area covers the full Lower Mainland — Vancouver, Surrey, Richmond, Burnaby, Langley, Port Coquitlam, Coquitlam, Port Moody, North Vancouver, New Westminster, and Delta. How long does delivery take?

Lead times vary by product and your location. Contact us with your order details and we'll confirm the earliest available delivery date. We respond to all inquiries within one business day and aim to deliver first orders as quickly as possible.

Is there free delivery?

Yes — qualifying orders in the Lower Mainland receive free delivery. Contact us for the current threshold for your area. For extended service areas (Vancouver Island, Okanagan, Fraser Valley), reach out and we'll confirm delivery arrangements and costs.

Can I pick up my order?

Are your compostable products compliant with Metro Vancouver's Single-Use Item Bylaw?

Yes. Our compostable straws, birchwood and cornstarch cutlery, and sugarcane bagasse containers are designed to meet the requirements of Metro Vancouver's Single-Use Item Bylaw. If you're unsure which products your business needs to replace, contact us and we'll help you identify the right compliant alternatives from our range.

What's the difference between compostable and biodegradable packaging?

Compostable packaging breaks down into nutrient-rich compost within a specific timeframe under industrial composting conditions — this is the standard Metro Vancouver bylaws reference. Biodegradable is a broader term meaning something will break down eventually, but without a defined timeframe or composting requirement. When choosing compliant packaging, look for certified compostable labelling.

What is sugarcane bagasse?

Sugarcane bagasse is the fibrous material left after sugarcane juice is extracted. It's processed into strong, heat-resistant plates, bowls, and clamshells that are 100% compostable in industrial composting facilities. It's a popular alternative to styrofoam and non-compostable plastic containers, and performs well with hot and wet foods.

Over 35% of our catalogue is eco-friendly — spanning 9 categories. How many products do you carry?

Do you offer custom printed packaging?

Custom printing is not part of our current standard range. If that's something you're looking for, reach out — we'll see how we can point you in the right direction.

Are your products food-grade and safe for direct food contact?

Yes. All products in our catalogue are food-grade and suitable for direct food contact where intended — including our takeout containers, cups, cutlery, and sugarcane bagasse plates and bowls.

How does your pricing work?

Do you have a price-match policy?

Yes. If you find the same product at a lower price from another BC supplier, reach out and we'll do our best to match it. We want to earn your business on both price and service.

What is your return or exchange policy?
